  Case Summary Plaintiffs challenge State Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s intended adherence to primary date of June 9, 2020 (originally scheduled for March 24), as well as his intention not to institute mitigation measures. Plaintiffs bring claims under the United States Constitution that by holding elections during the COVID-19 pandemic and failing to institute safety measures, the state will burden severely and infringe upon the fundamental right to vote (1st and 14th Amendments) as well as violating Plaintiffs' rights to equal protection.
